The Royal Ballet produced an evening of divertissements, new pieces and a restaging of Within the Golden Hour by Christopher Wheeldon. Lighting was designed and recreated for the whole evening which contained three new works, revivals of Le Corsaire and Dance of the Blessed Spirit, a solo created by Sir Frederick Ashton and a new piece by Valentino Zucchetti Scherzo set to the second movement of Rachmaninov Symphony No2. The evening was broadcast live worldwide, Directed by Peter Jones.
