Joseph Toonga created a new dance work performed as part of the Abbey Road Studio 1 relaunch. The famous recording studio in London commissioned a series of events and Synergy in Motion included Joseph’s choreography with a score by Daniel Pemberton. The space is usually used for film score recording and hosting a dance performance was a first for the iconic space. Various Pemberton film compositions were reimagined for the premiere with Costume Design by Vitoria Flores. Thank you to the Production Team at Halo Lighting for organising the event rigging. Also to Estelle Dixon, Mark Robertson and the support of the Abbey Road teams. And particular thanks to Associate Lighting Designer Phil Burke for realising the piece on the day.
